While Snoop Dogg spends the night at a club with T-Pain, Melanie Fiona enjoys her time alone as she struggles to mend her broken heart.
Two music videos have gone viral at almost the same time. One featuring T-Pain is to support Snoop Dogg's club-ready song "Boom", and the other is filmed to promote Melanie Fiona's ballad track "Gone and Never Coming Back".
Snoop, along with T-Pain, rocks an underground party in the "Boom" video which is set "after the fall of the American empire [when] survival is hard." Melanie, meanwhile, has quite a different video. This Canadian R&B singer doesn't party nor mingle with her pals, but rather copes with her aching heart alone.
"Boom" is included in Snoop Dogg's forthcoming 11th studio album "Doggumentary" which is slated for March 29 U.S. release. As for "Gone and Never Coming Back", it is expected to appear in Melanie Fiona's next studio installment "The MF Life" which is reportedly due in July.
