Rolls-Royce and Ferrari has also experiencing an increase of their female customers, with Rolls has 9.3 percent while Ferrari has 6.4 percent. In summary, the survey was revealed that females are a lot more interested on an inexpensive and practical car compared to man, which were love a big brawny cars more. The study said that the top 10 car which has sold more than half of their production were VW New Betle, Nissan Rogue, Volkswagen Eos, KIA Spectra, Hyundai Entourage, Volvo S40, Nissan Sentra, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Jeep Compass.

For the men, the list was less practical and faster except for pickup trucks. Those includes the Porsche 911, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado, BMW M3, Chevrolet Corvette, Ford F-Series, Toyota Tundra, Audi S5, Ford Ranger, and Dodge Ram. Yes, as I said before, males were more likely to buy a more expensive, faster, and good looking car, but less practical then females.

Ford Focus ST Undergoing Cold Testing

Ford Focus ST Undergoing Cold Testing

Previously, we have seen the 2012 Ford Focus ST at the Paris Auto Show last year. However, that hot hatch in the event is only the concept version which is close enough to the production model. Now, the real Focus ST might be coming at an auto show in a short time. But the car seems not quite ready, as the spy photographers from Autoblog have caught the Ford engineers working on the mule bodied example at the track and snow.

From far away, you might think that this is just another Focus car as it has the standard front fascia compared to the more aggressive thing in the Auto Show. But look more carefully, and you will find some unique touches that you saw in the concept such as the central mounted exhaust outlet and the 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine. The power might reach 250 horsepower as the engine is mated to the six speed manual transmission.

The 2012 Ford Focus ST is expected to reach the market at the end of 2011. You have to be patient until that time if you are interested to buy the car. For now, just see the picture above and imagine yourself in the sporty action with the car.

China Suspend the Import of Jeep Wrangler

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine (AQSIQ) in China has suspend the Jeep Wrangler importing. This is happen because of some series of car fires. The Car News China has reported that the investigation by the Agency has shown that the fires were coming from the automatic transmission and the systems which were tied to the transmission.

Actually, AQSIQ has asked Chrysler to find the source of the problem and fix it, as well as remind the manufacturer and importers to take precautionary things to the vehicles in order to ensure the safety. These imported Wrangler is coming from the U.S., but NHTSA has done a quick check and their recall database didn’t shows any active recalls for Wrangler fires in U.S.

In the other hand, Chrysler has also forced to recall the 464 Wranglers in China due to the improperly torqued bolts which were leading to a loud noise and in some case, steering problems. The problematic vehicles were built between July 7 and September 10, 2010.  Chrysler China Sales Company will check the free and fix bolts at the vehicle. For this case, the same recall is also happen in U.S.

Most new car products are flaunting bigger horsepower ability and spacious interior, but Hyundai Elantra 2011 doesn’t seem to care about all of those elements and stick to the green and safe fuel element.

The company seems to understand that drivers don’t really care about the speed, unless they’re all race drivers. That’s why it’s important to stay on focus and stay on the right track. For driver, fuel safe is better than anything because it enables them to be money safe as well. The compact design and the safe fuel feature is what’s the car all about. With stick shift up to 6 speeds and automatic transmission, the car will give smooth ride for drivers. This mid-size car is compact and rather small, but they’re guaranteed to provide wide and smooth interior elements. It feels roomy and spacious. With front and rear heated seats, camera for backup feature, power sunroof, Bluetooth connection, and automatic headlights, all the passengers are given such luxury.

If you’re thinking about having Hyundai Elantra 2011 as one of your ride, you won’t regret it.
